In person games mean we get dressed to play. Whether it a casual game at the library, a weeknight game at a restaurant or a charity event, we plan our outfits accordingly. It’s finally fall and we are ready for it. Is there a more fun fashion season? I think not!

In Nashville, we dress for the season, not the weather.
What are you wearing to the game table this fall?

I have a uniform every season. I buy a few key pieces and wear it on repeat. This is what I am wearing:

Daytime game: great jeans, a white blouse and some fancy kicks

I went to a fashion event at a boutique here in Nashville with an embroidery machine on site. Any pair could be customized with just about any design. I love a good custom twist to make something uniquely Missy.

These jeans have a side zipper to make them slimmer or wide leg. And the custom addition? I added my three area codes! 312, 262 and 615 don’t mean anything to most people, but they tell my story.

Weeknight game: A plaid shirtdress and boots

At the Burberry fall fundraiser benefitting a local pediatric hospital, I found this amazing cotton flannel plaid shirt dress. A departure from the classic plaid, this brown hue is distinctively fall.

I have a closet full of boots. To make this a little unique, I added over the knee boots from an old collection by Jennifer Fisher. This dress would look great with booties or a classic chocolate cowboy boot.

My new favorite fall shirtdress from Burberry.

Charity event: Leather shorts and a blouse.

I love the elevated look of leather shorts and skorts from brands like L’agence and Alice and Olivia this fall. Paired with any blouse, this is my always on trend outfit for any event in Nashville.

Fancy sneakers, classic loafers or heels can adjust the look. To add a more signature looks, I love to add a custom cowboy hat or statement jewelry.

What are you fashionable game players wearing this fall?

Here is Nashville, it is October and we are still in the 90s. We dress for the season, not the weather!

Once it finally dips below 75 degrees, I will reach for the Bears sweatshirt and show my hometown pride. Until then, you will find me in my fall outfits with my lady fan tucked inside my handbag.

Let me know what fall fashion you are wearing at the game table this season!
