Missy Mahjong Tile Reviews

There seems to be another mahjong tile design release every day. With so many tiles to choose from, what is a girl to do? Missy Mahjong is here to help with an unpaid, completely editorial review of mahjong tiles…

Oh My Mahjong:

These tiles are thicker than most other tiles. This makes them easy to hold for smaller hands. When a player wants a minute and says, “Pause!” these tiles can easily be propped up on their side.

Oh My Mahjong comes in vibrant colors with a signature layered look. For a pop of color, these tiles really do the job.

The tile designs are fairly similar to traditional tiles. Most players can identify a soap, 1 bam or a joker with ease.

Like most mahjong tiles, these are expensive. Sure, Hermes and Judith Lieber have more expensive sets, but Oh My Mahjong tiles are still a splurge. Tiles sets are $400 and up. Be sure to use a coupon code for 10% to 20% off. These discount codes are easily available and the savings are significant.

These tiles often sell out on the Oh My Mahjong website. If you don’t care about the savings, you can find in stock items from Oh My Mahjong in local retailers and online stores including Neiman Marcus and Anthropologie.

The Mahjong Line:

The Mahjong Line has some great designs, especially the foodie line and the ranch line. These are a bit tricky to follow at first, but a regular mahjong player will have no trouble finding the craks and bams.

The tiles have a long thin profile. These are great for stacking the walls. The walls do not fall over when pushed. The size of the tiles make them easy to read.

Lighter than most tiles, these tiles are easy to transport. That lighter weight and thinner profile are also why they sometimes slip off the racks onto the floor.

The Mahjong Line is one of the pricier sets. There are rarely sales and the affiliates do seem to be pushy sales people that only know sets from the one brand.

The rummikub set from The Mahjong Line is arguably the best set on the market. The tiles are similarly sized and easy to handle. The racks for the rummikub game fit these tiles very well.

Bespoke Mahjong:

The signature product for Bespoke Mahjong is the auto table. The standard sized tiles and mats deserve a nod as well.

The laser luxe tiles are a lightweight plastic printed tile. These are offered at a discount, and as of August 2025 they were for sale for just $150. These are not a special tile in any way, but the designs are clear and easy to read.

The springtime safari sets are beautiful. Like The Mahjong Line profile, these tiles are a bit heftier in weight. The white is a crisp white. Most tiles are more of an off white.

Bespoke Mahjong follows a more traditional bam, crak, dot pattern. This makes the tiles easy to teach on and easy for beginners.

The pricing for the Bespoke Mahjong tiles varies. There are always plenty of discount codes available from 10% to 20% off. These savings can be used on mats, tiles and racks.

My Fair Mahjong:

The tiles from My Fair Mahjong have a long profile and might be the heaviest of any tiles on the market. When shuffling, these tiles have a sound unlike any other.

My Fair Mahjong offers some of the best designs and the printing is clear. The anywhere set is easy for teaching and beginners, but other designs are a bit more difficult. Advanced players will love the designs from the Southeast line, for example, The bams are willow trees, the craks are rocking chairs and the dots are ice cubes in the sweet tea.

These tiles rack nicely on both wooden and plastic racks. The size and weight of the tiles keep them in place.

These tiles have coupon codes, but seem to all be consistent at 10% percent off. The tiles often sell out, so inventory can be an issue.
